IF YOU ARE SENDING AN ILLUSTRATOR FILE:
- Convert all fonts to outlines (TYPE > CREATE OUTLINES).
- Turn off all Overprint Strokes / Fills (in the Attributes box).
- Email an EPS version AND a PDF file saved in Illustrator CS2 or lower.
- DO NOT apply filters, effects, transparency, or gradient meshes in Illustrator.
- Use spot colors in all objects instead of CMYK.
- If PANTONE colors are to be used, leave a note on the image of which ones to use (charges do apply).
- Attach/Email the linked images if there are any.
- State the printed size, otherwise it will be left to our interpretation.
- Proofread and Double check the files before sending them, we are not responsible for Grammatical errors.
IF YOU ARE SENDING A PHOTOSHOP / JPEG / TIFF FILE:
- Send us the original file as is.
- Keep layers unflattened.
- The Dots Per Inch should be at least 300dpi at the printed size, usually within a 12" by 12" square.
- Only send a JPEG file as a last resort (see paragraphs that follow).
- Create the art in RGB mode.
- Attach a JPEG file for viewing purposes only,
- Send us a printout of the final art,
- Double check the printout and JPEG files.
